Dear Friends,

Graduation for the Acton-Boxborough High School Class of 2018 is fast approaching. It is a time of celebration, high hopes, and lasting memories. It is also a time when high spirits can lead to unsafe behaviors. To protect our youth, Project Graduation was born – an evening of fun and safety on graduation night, free from alcohol and drugs, but packed with friends and entertainment.

All A-B seniors will be invited to Project Graduation, an all-night party exclusively for graduating seniors to be
held on Friday, June 1 from 10pm to 5am. This event has historically been a great success, with over 90% of the senior class attending. The common areas of the high school are decorated and there's plenty of food and activities, including a DJ, mechanical bull, arcade & casino-style games, and much more! In addition, prizes and scholarships are awarded. Underclass parents as well as adult volunteers from the community at large will chaperone, and officers from the Police Department are on-site all night to ensure a well-run and safe event.

Project Graduation has always been a gift from the Acton-Boxborough community to our seniors, with only a minimal ticket price paid by the graduate. Sponsored by the PTSO, we receive no funding from the school budget, making this program a totally self-supporting one. It is only through the generosity of parents, townspeople, and many local businesses and corporations that we have been able to host Project Graduation for the past 28 years. With your ongoing support, we hope to continue this project for many more years.

In keeping with prior years, our goal is to raise $15,000- $18,000 to cover the expenses associated with Project Graduation. We hope you will join with others in the local business community and demonstrate your support of this event by making a financial contribution, providing gift cards, or donating any creative gifts, gift baskets, or services. Please fill out the form on the reverse side of this letter and mail it along with your check made payable to ABRPSO-Project Graduation.

If you are donating gift cards, gift baskets, or other gifts, please indicate that on the form and we will make arrangements to pick up the donation, if necessary. We are also accepting donations by credit card through MKTix. If you wish to do this, make your donation at www.mktix.com/abpg, but please mail in this form as well because the information on the online form is different. Most importantly, we wish to be sure your sponsorship is properly acknowledged.

Project Graduation offers sponsorship at different levels. We appreciate your considering any level of
sponsorship that is comfortable for you and your business. We are grateful that the Acton-Boxborough
community and surrounding area businesses have traditionally endorsed our efforts to provide a fun and safe environment in which seniors can celebrate their graduation night. Thank you for helping us continue this endeavor during and beyond our 29th year.
